Thank you for using NewMeBooking.
This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions governing refunds for bookings made through our platform.
1. General Policy
NewMeBooking operates solely as an online booking platform, connecting clients with independent practitioners in mental health, holistic practices, retreats, and related fields.
Each practitioner listed on the platform functions as an independent service provider, and all refund decisions are determined in accordance with their individual terms.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are not automatically guaranteed. Each practitioner maintains their own refund and cancellation policy.
Clients must communicate directly with the practitioner to confirm eligibility for a refund or rescheduling prior to cancelling a booking.
3. Processing Time
Once a refund has been approved by the practitioner, it will be processed through Stripe.
Refunds are generally issued within 3 working days; however, processing may take up to 7 working days in cases of bank holidays, system delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
4. Platform Fee
The 10% platform fee retained by NewMeBooking is non-refundable under all circumstances, including booking cancellations, disputes, or failed transactions.
5. Cancellations and No-Shows
Refund eligibility for cancellations or missed sessions must be discussed directly with the practitioner.
NewMeBooking is not responsible for refund decisions or disputes arising from late cancellations, rescheduling requests, or no-shows.
6. Payment Method
All transactions and refunds are processed exclusively via Stripe.
Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used during booking. Alternative refund methods, including cash, are not available.
7. GDPR Compliance and Data Protection
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), NewMeBooking processes only the minimum amount of personal data required to facilitate refund transactions.
This may include your name, contact information, booking details, and payment reference.
Your personal data will only be shared with the relevant practitioner and our payment processor (Stripe) for the purpose of verifying and completing the refund.
All personal information is handled securely and in compliance with GDPR standards.

8. Platform Disclaimer
NewMeBooking is not a direct service provider. We do not assume responsibility for service quality, practitioner performance, or refund outcomes.
Our role is limited to facilitating secure connections, bookings, and payment processing between clients and practitioners.
